Beith backs recycling week with trip to Oxfam

Cutting landfill and helping Oxfam by recycling used printer cartridges.

Local MP Alan Beith had a hands-on approach to Recycling Week - by taking his Constituency Office's stockpile of used printer cartridges into Alnwick's Oxfam shop.

Alan said

"We get through quite a lot of printer cartridges in dealing with correspondence from constituents, so it's good to know these can be recycled rather than finding their way into landfill.

"I was very impressed with the new layout of the Oxfam shop and the friendly staff! I hear that manager Pat McCormack is looking for more volunteers and hope people will be able to help out - either with their printer cartridges or their time."
