The Liberal Democrat Christian Forum is a support organisation for Christians in the Liberal Democrats. Their aim is to encourage and enable Christians in their constructive work in politics. They are a voice of Christian faith in the Liberal Democrats, and a voice of Liberal Democracy among Christians. They work to encourage a positive Christian input in the party's activities at national, regional and local levels, and seek to support each other through prayer and fellowship. They welcome Christians from all backgrounds who are members or supporters of the Liberal Democrats and its associated Parties.

The Historic Chapels Trust (HCT) was established in 1993 to take into ownership redundant chapels and other places of worship in England which are of outstanding architectural and historic interest. The object is to secure their preservation, repair and maintenance for public benefit, including contents, burial grounds and ancillary buildings. Buildings of all denominations and faiths can be taken into care with the exception of Anglican churches which are eligible for vesting in the Churches Conservation Trust of the Church of England. HCT's remit embraces Nonconformist chapels, Roman Catholic churches, synagogues and private Anglican chapels. HCT buildings are usually graded I or II* on the statutory lists. HCT is also helping to foster greater understanding of its buildings through research, the production of publications and publicity about its activities. Rt. Hon. Alan Beith MP is the Chairman of the Historic Chapels Trust.
