We call on the North East Ambulance Service to scrap its plans to reduce Berwick's emergency ambulance cover.
By withdrawing one of the two 999 ambulances in Berwick, we believe there will be prolonged periods when the only emergency ambulance on duty could be taking seriously ill patients on a 100 mile round trip to the nearest General Hospital, meaning we are reliant on an ambulance from elsewhere in an emergency.
This is unacceptable. Don't risk Berwick lives - keep our emergency ambulance.
Even if you've already signed this petition, you can use the printable petition sheet to collect more signatures from your friends and neighbours.
You could go door to door on your street or pass the sheet around at a local event. Good places to leave a few copies include shops, pubs, libraries, and post offices - but don't forget to collect them and send them back to us.
When complete, please return (as soon as possible) to: Rt. Hon. Sir Alan Beith MP, 54 Bondgate Within, Alnwick NE66 1JD.
